The hotel has gained an excellent reputation on sites such as Trip Advisor for offering basic accommodation but with all facilities well maintained, immaculately kept and an excellent breakfast to boot, the guests just keep coming back!
Built over two floors the accommodation measures in excess of 600 square metres and is set on a plot of 1,200 square metres. The hotel facilities include a welcoming reception / bar with open lounge & fireplace, TV and breakfast area. There is a kitchen plus a private apartment for owners use. Extensive covered terraces lead to the gardens with plenty of sun bathing areas on the upper level of the building.
The twenty rooms are distributed as follows: On the ground floor are eight bedrooms all with en-suite facilities which are separated from each other by small balustrade terraces making them look more like individual apartments than just rooms. The upper level has 12 bedrooms again all en-suite and with access to a long terrace for sunbathing. All rooms have complete bathrooms, terrace and safe.
The business opens all year round with around 40 to 50 per cent occupancy in the winter months and 100% occupancy from May through to October. The hotel is frequented by German, Dutch, Italian French and English clients, many of whom are now repeat guests in the hotel with future bookings looking very healthy.
The current owners bought the hotel in 2007 and in this time have thoroughly improved the business, among other things with the addition of air conditioning in 14 rooms, and insulation on the walls and roof. The owners have recently taken on a larger hotel elsewhere on the island and are selling to concentrate on this.
